Economic Freedom Fighters leader Julius Malema has reportedly been embroiled in another scuffle in Limpopo.

Polokwane police confirmed yesterday that they are investigating a case of pointing a firearm and malicious damage to property against Malema and his bodyguards.

The EFF leader is alleged to have pushed a security guard who directed him to exit at another point at the Peter Mokaba Stadium during an event on Sunday morning.

According to the owner of security company Mmushi Tsebi, Malema became aggressive when the guard refused to allow him to exit the stadium at the entry.

Police spokeswoman Colonel Ronel Otto confirmed that a case had been opened and investigations were under way.

Last week footage emerged of Malema pushing a man whom he alleged verbally abused staff at a restaurant in Limpopo.

Malema claimed that he was defending the restaurant's cashiers from racial and verbal abuse.
