The trailer for Neill Blomkamp's new sci-fi movie, Chappie, is finally out and it seems the director has taken inspiration from the 1980s movie Short Circuit.

The title character, voiced by local actor Sharlto Copley, is a clunky-looking robot .

In the trailer Chappie opens a fridge and finds a milk carton, only to jump up in surprise when milk spills out. Further on, Yo-Landi Vi$$er, of the Zef rap band Die Antwoord, seems to have formed quite a bond with Chappie as the pair sit on a bed and she notes in her quirky voice: "You know what's a black sheep? It's like when you different to everyone else."

But it's not all tear-jerking stuff.

Hugh Jackman, who plays Vincent, seems hellbent on spoiling the party, saying: "This robot is going to be removed." But Vi$$er fights for Chappie, calling him "just a kid".

The film will be distributed by Sony Pictures and is expected to be released in March.

GOTH rocker Marilyn Manson and pin-up model Dita Von Teese couldn't stand each other after their brief marriage broke down, but, in the most unlikely of circumstances, Die Antwoord got them back together . sort of.

Manson and a semi-nude Von Teese appear in Vi$$er and Ninja's latest music video, Ugly Boy.

They are joined by model Cara Delevingne, the Red Hot Chili Peppers' Flea and actor Jack Black.

The video, directed by Ninja, features gore, vulgarity and a man in blackface wearing a sweater that reads: "Hi, My Name is God".
