Hellopeter: goodbye to the old, in with the new

Hellopeter.com, is going more user-friendly and will soon have an app that will enable live interaction between consumers and businesses.

The consumer advocacy website announced on Wednesday that it had been bought by a consortium of local and foreign entrepreneurs, including the US firm Founder Collective.

Alon Rom, director of Mr Delivery, will become the company's CEO from December 1. Rom said an app allowing live interaction between consumers and companies would be introduced.

"I am excited to be involved in a business that can provide independent and credible information to help corporates understand their customers and ... provide consumers a voice," Rom said.

Hellopeter.com, launched in 2000, is South Africa's largest customer service platform.
