Model and TV personality Jeannie D, 31, lives in a penthouse with a view that she bought two years ago.

My downtime

There is a beautiful rock beach in front of my apartment and I love to spend time there, watching the waves break and the sun set. A day off is a rare thing but when I do get time off, I love to climb Signal Hill. I also jog along the Sea Point promenade.

When I want Wi-Fi and great coffee I go to Palladium Hair Co, my hair salon in the Cape Quarter in Green Point.

My balcony has the best view for sundowners and my drink of choice is a chilled sauvignon blanc. But depending on the moment I also love a spicy Bloody Mary.

Camps Bay is the beach for me.

Eating out

I go to Umi in Victoria Road, Camps Bay, often. I love their oysters and black cod. I also love Willoughby & Co in the V&A Waterfront. I go there three times a week for their jalapeno sashimi. If I want to treat myself at tea time I'll go to the Mount Nelson in Gardens for its high tea. Giovanni's Deli World in Main Road, Green Point, is one of my favourite corner cafes.

Fitness time

I go to Transfit Gym at Renaissance Body Science Institute in Bree Street. I also like BUC gym in Sea Point - it looks like a hotel inside. And I love going to the Yoga Life for bikram yoga classes. I love Yemaya Spa in Regent Road, Sea Point. I go there for Optiphi peels.
