Finally, rappers AKA and Cassper Nyovest can put their money where their mouths are - they are neck-and-neck with seven nominations each for the Metro FM Music Awards.
The pair, who were embroiled in a war of words on social media last year, were nominated in categories including song of the year and best music video.
Rapper KO clinched six nominations and the Beatenberg trio got five.
SABC radio general manager Leuba Ramakgolo said the calibre of the finalists for this year's awards was exciting.
"It reaffirms Metro FM's stance of celebrating greatness in music while recognising musicians who have contributed to the growth of the industry," he said.
The Metro FM awards will be held in Durban on February 28.
