Metro cops 'rob mom, point gun at daughter'

Two Tshwane metro police officers who allegedly threatened to shoot a crying three-year-old girl in front of her mother were arrested last night shortly after reporting for duty.

The suspects allegedly robbed the girl's mother of about R100 near the Zandfontein cemetery outside Pretoria. The officers had found that she did not have a driver's licence. However, she apparently would not pay a bribe.

The officers will appear in court soon on charges of armed robbery.
