The Stormers have had further injury setbacks but they should be boosted by lock Eben Etzebeth and flank Schalk Burger this week.

Etzebeth will definitely be back from injury to play against the Sharks at Newlands on Saturday, but Burger's inclusion has not yet been confirmed, as he only arrives at training today.

On the negative side, lock Jurie van Vuuren has suffered a dislocated shoulder that will keep him out for up to a month and flank Michael Rhodes will undergo a scan on his knee.

"Mikey [Rhodes] is doubtful for the weekend but he will undergo a scan to test the severity of the injury," coach Allister Coetzee said. "Ruan Botha underwent a concussion test at the weekend and he hasn't done a follow-up yet.

"Eben Etzebeth and Jean Kleyn are back and ready for selection this weekend, so that is timely considering the lock situation.

"We have to keep building capacity in the squad."
