Sandton or CBD?

I love the CBD because of it's history. My granddad used to take me to the high court to listen to cases (Connell).

Definitely the CBD and Braamfontein. It's the Joburg I love - busy, mixed. noisy and full of life (Aymeric).

Best place for a picnic?

Northcliff Hill. When I was a kid I would invariably end up at Northcliff Hill for dates. It worked like a charm (Connell).

Botanical Gardens in Emmarentia. It's quiet, beautiful, peaceful and lovely(Aymeric).

Favourite place to get some culture?

The Wits Art Museum is great but I guess I really love the planetarium (Connell).

I'd like to think The Orbit qualifies for that. I must be honest, I have not had much time to go elsewhere (Aymeric).

Favourite places in Joburg?

My grandparents' house in Berario (Connell).

Braamfontein for the buzz and atmosphere, Maboneng for the vibe and the adventurous spirit (Aymeric).

Three favourite local musicians?

I like Jimmy Nevis, Gangs of Ballet and Loyiso Bala (Connell).

Avoid like the plague?

The traffic (Connell).

Surprise hangout?

Comic book stores. There is a great one in Melville I go to regularly (Connell).

Bowling in Rosebank. I used to do a lot of bowling as a student (Aymeric).
