New link to Sun City

Travellers will for the first time be able to take a direct flight to Pilanesberg's Sun City resort from either Johannesburg or Cape Town.

The North West transport department has awarded local airline SA Express the contract to schedule commercial flights in and out of Pilanesberg Airport.

Return flights to the Pilanesberg from OR Tambo International Airport will depart three times a week - on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays - and from Cape Town International Airport on Mondays and Fridays.

The direct flights are scheduled to commence on April 1.

A return flight from Johannesburg will set you back R2200, and a return trip from Cape Town will cost R3000.
