Death threats for US hunter

A Texan big game hunter has been given permission by the US government to import the carcass of a rare black rhino after he kills it in Namibia, despite heavy opposition. Corey Knowlton has received death threats since he bid $350000 (R4.2-million) for the right to shoot the animal in a controversial auction by the Dallas Safari Club last year.Knowlton has yet to shoot the rhino because he has been waiting for a permit from the US Fish and Wildlife Service to take it back to Texas.More than 150 000 people signed petitions calling on the government agency not to grant the permit. ..
