Zuma heads SA, not just ANC

30 March 2015 - 02:01 By John Whittall, by email

Dear President Jacob Zuma, You will be aware of the serious situation and consequences resulting from the anarchy prevailing throughout your government.Do you realise the R30-billion needed to prop up state enterprises will come from taxpayers in the form of a stealth tax, and that these funds will be denied to the economy for more pressing developmental projects?Eskom, SAA, the Post Office, Telkom, the NPA, to name a few, lack leadership skills needed to reverse the continuing decline. Can you honestly say the candidates appointed to lead these organisations have the necessary management or operational qualifications? As the fault lines deepen, almost by the day, you should awake to the fact that your government lacks the skills needed to run the country. The people are tired of hearing your government promise change.Until you wake up to the national responsibilities of your presidential office to serve the people with honesty and purpose you will with certainty sink further. You are rapidly losing political ground as discontent spreads. The problems over Nkandla are miniscule compared with those you face nationally. You were appointed to the highest office to lead South Africa, and not only the ANC political structure. ..
