The UK police's face-mapping technology has been used to identify possibly the most wanted man and woman in the world, according to a report on The Daily Telegraph website. The EFIT-V PhotoFit software is usually used to draw up "e-fits" of wanted criminals but Dr Chris Solomon, a world expert in facial mapping, used to it to produce the ideal human face. Researchers then asked a group of 100 people to rank a series of e-fits according to their aesthetic appeal.But, the Telegraph report noted, Dr Solomon warned that beauty remained in the eye of the beholder. He said: "It's important to note that these are the idealised faces according to those living in the UK, so a study in Asia or Africa, for example, would no doubt have different results."Dr Solomon noted that UK women's version of a modern Adonis involved surprisingly feminine features, including a softer jawline, full lips and a clean-shaven look.He added that when it came to female beauty, the women judges were even more exacting than their male counterparts - and looked for even fuller lips, larger eyes and higher cheekbones.According to the report, actress Natalie Portman and model David Gandy were the celebrities that were most pleasing to the British eye...
