RiRi knocks on the Dior - and it opens

Pop star Rihanna has officially been welcomed into the Christian Dior family with an elegant and alluring campaign. The 27-year-old is the star of the storied fashion house's Secret Garden campaign, which sees her model creative director Raf Simons's Esprit Dior Tokyo 2015 collection.The moody images placing the sultry singer in the luxurious setting of the Chateau de Versailles were taken by revered photographer Steven Klein.The singer will also star in a short video to be released next Monday, which features her new song Only If for a Night as the soundtrack.Rihanna takes over from French actress Marion Cotillard for this instalment of the Secret Garden ads, and joins Charlize Theron, Natalie Portman and Jennifer Lawrence in becoming a brand spokesmodel.The union also marks her as the first woman of colour to pose for the brand, a feat that she previously described as: "such a big deal for me, for my culture, for a lot of young girls of any colour".Dior CEO Sidney Toledano described the global star as "a goddess but accessible".He said: "The way she moves is part of the young generation."She has this kind of elegance - we saw it from the very first moment - and then she can surprise. She can be unexpected and we like it. It's part of this personality." ..
