UCT protesters off the hook

No disciplinary action will be taken against students or staff involved in protest action at the University of Cape Town related to the statue of Cecil John Rhodes, UCT said over the weekend. Vice-chancellor Max Price said such action would take months, would be a source of conflict and protest, "and would prevent the subjects of the disciplinary action ... from participating in the next phase of planning the transformation agenda". ..
