ANC epitomises 'poverty of politics'

The ANC's ineptitude and disregard for every rule in the book embody the " poverty of politics" to which President Jacob Zuma has referred. The opposition is not without flaws but I suspect the DA would rule the country according to first-world policies. The ANC's lack of accountability speeds up this country's downward slide. The party knows that the masses it has kept uneducated will continue to vote for it in return for toilets, food packs and cheap Chinese-made shirts.Amazingly, the jobless people I speak to routinely insist that they never vote for the ANC - unlikely, as the ANC routinely commands more than 60% of the vote despite the economic havoc it wreaks. All that is not ANC must team up against the ANC and adopt the slogan "Any party but the ANC". Only once the ANC goes do I see democracy thriving.Until the ANC goes, gutter politics is all that we will see...
