Lion attack on camera?

Police are investigating the possibility that an American woman who was killed by a lion might have captured her last moments on camera. The 22-year-old was mauled to death by a lioness in the Lion Park, near Johannesburg, on Monday as she was taking photographs through her open car window.Police have taken her camera as evidence in their investigation.National police spokesman Colonel Lungelo Dlamini said: "All the evidence in the possession of the police will be used as part of the investigation in the inquest docket."The US embassy has confirmed that the woman was a US citizen, and has extended its condolences through social media to her family. It refused to disclose her identity to protect her family's privacy.The lion park receives 200,000 visitors a year, among them famous tourists such as singers Shakira and John Legend.Despite the death, a day after the attack the park was open yesterday, with only the area where the attack took place cordoned off.Monday's attack was the third in the park in the past four months.A tour guide who accompanied the woman is in intensive care...
