Gone is the praise-singing of old advertising campaigns - brands now try to gain market share by extending a helping hand.Samsung recently announced a campaign based on the idea of making highways safer.Samsung's ''safety truck" has a wireless camera installed on the front grill that displays what's in front of the vehicle on a flat screen TV attached to the back of the truck that allows overtaking cars to see what's in front.The truck's prototype has already been tested but no models are on the road yet.The Korean tech giant claims to be working with local governments to figure out how to optimise the system for road use."So far Samsung has been able to confirm that the technology works and that this idea can definitely save the lives of many people," the company says. ..
