RiRi to 'debtors': Pay back my money

03 July 2015 - 02:17 By Leonie Wagner

After watching the video Bitch Better Have My Money, anyone who owes Rihanna money has either fled the country or paid her back. The Grammy award-winning singer's much anticipated music video was released yesterday and received almost 2.7 million views in the first 12 hours. This has been a good week for the 27-year-old, who also set a digital music record by being the first artist to surpass the 100-million digital sales mark, putting her at the top of the list, according to the Recording Industry Association of America. The seven-minute video is a gory and sexy take on an all-girls trip, with kidnapping, torture and a drug-fuelled motel party as pit stops. In true Rihanna style, she is dressed in haute couture and then kidnaps a beautiful blonde, the wife of her accountant. The kidnapped woman is put in the boot of an old-school convertible and taken to an abandoned barn, where she is hung half-naked by her feet. When the women finish torturing her and forcing her to drink and smoke weed, the focus turns to the actual target - the accountant - played by Hannibal leading man Mads Mikkelsen.Donning a transparent latex dress, Rihanna opts for a knife collection worthy of Liam Neeson's approval in the next Taken movie. The closing shot shows her drenched in blood, lying in a trunk filled with money and lighting a joint. For anyone who is still confused and attempts to rob her, the final shot is of Rihanna with her hair covered in blood. It's so terrifying and insane that credit companies could use the video to convince clients to pay their accounts. But it is unlikely to make it on to television...
