Acting SAA chief Bezuidenhout sent back to Mango

The acting chief executive of South African Airways, Nico Bezuidenhout, has stepped down but will proceed to head the national carrier's low-cost airline, Mango. SAA spokesman Tlali Tlali confirmed this last night.For the past two weeks there had been speculation that SAA was in the process of engaging a new acting CEO.Media reports indicated that SAA general manager of operations, Zukiswa Ramasia, was to take over from Bezuidenhout.Besides problems with profitability, SAA has experienced major upheavals of late. Late last year it experienced mass resignations.Bezuidenhout, who was Mango CEO, took up the position of acting CEO in November after the suspension of former CEO Monwabisi Kalawe...
