Style Quandary

Should we don the brightly coloured or patterned sock? Now that metro males are the norm, should we all adorn our feet in colour?FORAs far back as you can remember, your dad has told you that the only socks to wear with a suit are black ones. The problem is that unless your dad is David Beckham or the real-life James Bond, he knows nothing about fashion. Colourful socks are cool, quirky and signal that you do not work in accounting. There is also the added benefit that if you end up wearing two different pairs, it will probably heighten your eccentric allure.AGAINSTAn oft forgotten 11th Commandment explicitly states: ''Thou shalt not wear socks not uniform in colour lest ye be seen as a clown." At best, people will only ever catch a glimpse of your snazzy foot-warmers, making them almost as pointless as male nipples. Calling attention to your ankles in such an explicit way hints that your personality may be so devoid of colour that you are wrapping your toes in icebreakers. - YM..
