Ernie chips into Durbs

Durban has hit a hole in one. The city's Hilton Hotel announced this week that it is partnering with golf legend Ernie Els to open a new wine bar and restaurant called, naturally, the Big Easy.The 340m² bar and grill, located on the ground floor of the Hilton, will open in early October.The Hilton Hotel is the only five-star hotel in the Durban CBD.Hilton Hotel GM Markus Fritz said: "It's a reflection of Ernie, from the furnishing to the way he eats, lives and entertains."This is where you will come for a great burger, a glass of wine and a look at some golfing memorabilia." ..
