Cilla Black dies at 72

English television star and singer Cilla Black, 72, has died of natural causes at her Spanish home. A Spanish police officer said: "We are still awaiting autopsy results but everything at this stage is pointing towards her death being from natural causes."Born Priscilla Maria Veronica White, in Liverpool, the star performed alongside acts including The Beatles, and Gerry and the Pacemakers.She released 14 albums but later established herself as a TV personality. In 1968, she became the first woman to have her own prime-time show on BBC One.Despite suffering from arthritis and deafness, she remained in the public eye. In a recent interview, Black said she did not want to live beyond 75."Seventy-five is a good age to go if things start to drop off. I don't want to linger. I don't want to be a burden to anybody." ..
