Mzansi's Queen B, Bonang Matheba, is one step closer to continental domination. The Afternoon Express presenter will feature on E! Entertainment's first ever locally produced series, E! News Special. Kicking off the 12-part series, Matheba will be the first of some of the most influential personalities the continent has to offer. The series is set to give viewers a glimpse into the lives of Matheba and others like actress Terry Pheto, rapper AKA, singer Danny K and model and television host Shashi Naidoo through exclusive interviews.Matheba, who is also a MetroFM radio presenter and the face of cosmetics brand Revlon, said this latest accolade was a "fantastic opportunity" but remained tight-lipped about other projects in the pipeline."We just have to wait and see .Africa first needs to know me. I'll leave world domination to Trevor Noah, for now I'm trying to dominate the continent," she said. This has been a good year for one of South Africa's most popular media personalities. Earlier this year Queen B was crowned Favourite South African Radio DJ in Los Angeles at the Nickelodeon Kids Choice Award. Even though it looks like she was an overnight success, she has been working hard and sees the E! News Special as another stepping stone.Matheba said: "It's not easy, but it's wonderful to see your dream come to fruition."But it hasn't been without its challenging moments. Matheba said she still remembered all the times she was rejected. The E! News Special will premiere on E! (DStv Channel 124) in South Africa on Thursday September 10 at 8pm...
