Sparkling Aces humble Pitso Mosimane's Sundowns , Chiefs draw in Polokwane

Ten-man Mpumalanga Black Aces took three points from Mamelodi Sundowns following a 1-0 win in a thrilling Absa Premiership match at Mbombela Stadium in Nelspruit last night. Aces were down to 10 men for the second half after goalkeeper Jackson Mabokgwane was sent off but they put up a spirited during the two team's performance at the back to keep Sundowns at bay.Aces had taken the lead through their skipper, Zamuxolo Ngalo, eight minutes from interval. The goal came in the 37th minute from a corner, which Tshidiso Tukane delivered perfectly for Ngalo to steer home.Hero Ngalo turned villain when he played Cuthbert Malajila onside. Malajila was taken out by Mabokgwane and referee Victor Hlungwani sent the Aces keeper for an early shower.In Polokwane, defending champions Kaizer Chiefs were held to a 1-1 draw by Polokwane City.City made life difficult for Steve Komphela's men and walked off the pitch with a point after Puleng Tlolane cancelled out Eric Mathoho's first half effort.The visitors started very well, eager to unsettle their opponents. Siphiwe Tshabalala, who scored a stunner against Free State Stars at the weekend, dilly dallied in the box after a cross from George Lebese landed at his feet, but City scurried the ball to safety...
