Which local celebrities would South Africans most like to be stranded on an island with? A recent survey conducted by BBC Earth found television presenter Jeannie D, Idols SA judge Gareth Cliff and DJ Fresh were voted as the best companions for a trip around the world.Researchers sampled 1004 people between the ages of 16 and 65 to celebrate the launch of the BBC Earth channel today.Top Billing presenter Jeannie D ranked number one on the list, followed by controversial Idols judge Gareth Cliff.Perhaps those who voted for DJ Fresh imagined he'd have his music equipment with him to facilitate an island house party for two...
