Ramaphosa 'flew blind'

Deputy President Cyril Ramaphosa yesterday said he "honestly" did not know that the private jet that flew him to Japan belonged to the Gupta family. He was responding to a question in the National Council of Provinces by EFF member Vusiwana Mtileni.Defence Minister Nosiviwe Mapisa-Nqakula said there was nothing untoward about the use of the plane, which is registered to Westdawn Investments, a Gupta-owned company. Ramaphosa claimed the jet was the most "cost-effective" travel choice...
