Kabelo adds solo album to life's load

Kwaito artist Kabelo Mabalane can now add actor, author and fitness guru to his resumeé as he expands his creative skills. On Friday he released his ninth solo album, Immortal Vol 3, and it might come as a surprise to fans after his three-year hiatus as a recording artist."With this album I'm declaring that I'm going to be around for a long time. I never saw myself as a flash in the pan. When I die I want every ounce of potential to have been used," he said.Although he has not been performing in clubs, he has been on television screens in his reality show Kabelo's Bootcamp, and more recently in the Mzansi Magic telenovella The Road."My mind and my heart never left the studio. I would pull over to the side of the road and write down lyrics," Mabalane, 38, said.With everything that he has going on, including writing his biography, I Ran My Life, it's difficult to imagine that he has enough time for everything."I'm juggling fatherhood, marriage and my career but because they are all important I make sure that I make time for all of them," he said...
