Nesar Ahmad Noorullah is the executive pastry chef at Fairmont Zimbali resort's Osa restaurant. "I believe that your food has to be simple and full of love," he says, "the same way that we would cook at home." What is currently in your fridge?Lots of ice cream, cheese and milk - I enjoy making my own paneer - and a lot of fresh fruit and vegetables. The most annoying eaters? No eaters are annoying. If I can't satisfy their needs, there is no point in me wearing this white jacket.Dumbest thing you have ever done in a kitchen?Things mostly happen while I am experimenting with new creations. Over-complicated flavours sometimes turn out to be awful. Sometimes a silly experiment can turn into something interesting. For example, a balsamic vinegar cake, once chocolate and strawberries had been added. Can your kids cook? What? When my three-and-a-half-year-old son sees a cooking show on TV he picks up his toy stove and pots and act like a very busy chef himself.Worst diet you've ever tried? It would have to be the sugar diet - the worst diet one can imagine.Guilty pleasure?A Calcutta kathi roll (a shallow fried, flaky Indian bread, wrapped and griddle cooked with partially mashed potatoes, tomato sauce, onion, lemon juice and coriander). What dish would never try to master or have never been able to master?I want to conquer the Cronut. If you could only eat one food for the rest of your life what would it be?My family's three-generation breyani. What food item would never be seen in your house?Pork products and alcohol. What food are you currently craving?Proper Chinese food. ..
