Bafana rocked by injuries to four players

Bafana Bafana coach Shakes Mashaba is facing a quadruple injury blow ahead of the tour to Central America to face Costa Rica and Honduras early next month. Definitely out of the matches is Orlando Pirates midfielder Oupa Manyisa, who faces months on the sidelines after fracturing a bone above his ankle against Polokwane City on Tuesday.Times Media understands that there are also concerns over the fitness of the Kaizer Chiefs duo of goalkeeper Itumeleng Khune and midfielder George Lebese, while Ajax Cape Town forward Prince Nxumalo is also in doubt after suffering a second epileptic fit minutes before he was due to start for the club against Mamelodi Sundowns on Wednesday.Khune has a knee injury and sat out Chiefs' 1-1 draw with University of Pretoria this week.Lebese was stretchered off against AmaTuks just 24 hours after being recalled to the Bafana squad for what could be his first international appearance in three years.The full extent of his injury has not yet been assessed but the incident at the FNB Stadium did not look good for the 26-year-old.Nxumalo was taken to hospital in Pretoria after his latest epileptic incident which came after he was named in the starting lineup to face Sundowns.South Africa will play Costa Rica on October 8, before a first-ever meeting with Honduras five days later...
