Noah record for Comedy Central in SA

Comedian Trevor Noah's debut as host of The Daily Show after the departure of Jon Stewart has given Comedy Central its highest-ever rating in South Africa. Noah's debut show on September 29 was watched by 350000 people in South Africa, surpassing the channel's previous record locally of 280000 for the Roast of Steve Hofmeyr in 2012. MultiChoice made the channel, usually reserved for premium viewers, available to compact subscribers for a week.In the US, 7.5million viewers aged 18 to 49 tuned in for the Trevor Noah premiere.This was a 21% gain on Stewart's rating for his final quarter as host of the show. ..
