A brief history of Freddie

Anthony McCarten, the Oscar- nominated writer of the Stephen Hawking biopic Theory of Everything is now involved with the long awaited biopic of Queen lead singer Freddie Mercury. The project has been around since 2010 when Sacha Baron Cohen was attached to play the role but unsurprisingly he and the surviving members of the band parted ways over a difference in opinion over the direction of the film. There's no news yet on when the film is expected to go into production but rumours are that Ben Whishaw is in line to play Mercury and the unimaginative working title is Bohemian Rhapsody.Most people would never think that Christopher Nolan's Memento, released in 2000, would be in line for a remake. Acquired by AMBI pictures as part of its acquisition of 400 films in the Exclusive Media Group film library, the producers claim that their remake will "stay true to Nolan's original vision, while being every bit as iconic and award-worthy as the original".How right did Hackers get the world of computers and the internet 20 years ago?
