Withhold taxes from lazy lot in charge

Congratulations to Tom Eaton and The Times on the best battle-cry yet on the undeclared terror war "already at large in SA". As he says, "Any medium-sized state in which citizens manage to murder 16000 of their own (closer to 18000 this year) is not a target [for terrorists]." It's at war with itself, while the government looks on and sniggers. In our case, the mortality rate among women killed by their intimate partners was five times higher than the global average. South Africa gets the gold medal for domestic terrorism too.Since enrichment from our taxes seems to have motivated many of our present rulers to go into politics, maybe it would be a better tactic to stop paying these until we have a new regime - and they should be paid with taxes only if they perform. This would make it fairly easy to get rid of the lazy lot we have - they certainly wouldn't want their bonuses linked to performance. It would be a bloodless battle with immediate benefits for all. ..
