Police in Florida in the US have used DNA to draw up an identikit of a suspect they can't catch. No one has seen the man the media calls the Serial Creeper, who for more than two years has slipped into women's bedrooms, touched their hair and feet and sometimes sexually assaulted them. The problem is that the Creeper has always covered his face and his DNA doesn't appear on any database.Police turned to Parabon NanoLabs to analyse DNA the Creeper left at crime scenes, hoping it would provide some clues, including hair and eye colour, facial features and ancestry.Parabon drew up the identikit. The creators did not believe it was an exact picture of the suspect, but thought it would give police an idea about who they should be looking for. The sketch shows a dark-haired, dark-eyed Latino man with smooth skin, high cheekbones and a pointed chin.Although still new, the technology could allow researchers to put faces to ancient people and allow parents to see what their babies might look like. ..
