Bey not involved in Baartman film

Superstar Beyoncé Knowles-Carter has officially denied her involvement in the making of a movie about South African icon, Sarah Baartman. Billboard reports that her representative said "Beyoncé is in no way tied to this project," adding "this is an important story that should be told, however."Following rumours that Beyoncé would write the script as well as star in the film, local chief of the Ghonaqua First Peoples, Chief Jean Burgess, was reported as saying that "she lacks the basic human dignity to be worthy of writing Sarah's story, let alone playing the part"...
