Anaso Jobadwana flies SA flag at US meet

Star sprinter Anaso Jobodwana has been named in an 11-strong South African team for the world indoor championships in Portland, US, in March. Jobodwana, who won the 200m bronze at the full-blown world championships in Beijing last year, is down to compete in the 60m alongside 100m SA record-holder Henricho Bruintjies.Both competed in the 4x100m relay in Beijing, as did 110m hurdler Antonio Alkana, who will race in the 60m hurdles.Three other members also did duty in Beijing - long-jumpers Zarck Visser and Ruswahl Samaai, and Willem Coertzen, the decathlete who participates in the heptathlon indoors.The other five members of the SA team were selected purely for the 4x400m relay, and include one survivor from SA's silver-winning outfit at the 2011 champs in Daegu, Ofentse Mogawane.The others are Jon Seeliger, Thapelo Phora, Shaun de Jager and Sonwabiso Skhosana.They all boast personal bests of below 46 seconds, with the exception of Skhosana.Full team:Henricho Bruintjes, Anaso Jobodwana (both 60m), Antonio Alkana (60m hurdles), Zarck Visser and Ruswahl Samaai (both long jump), Willem Coertzen (heptathlon), Ofentse Mogawane, Jon Seeliger, Thapelo Phora, Shaun de Jager and Sonwabiso Skhosana (all 4x400m)...
