The new "curvy Barbie" was internationally lauded on her recent debut. She still walks on tip-toe, but the thigh gap has officially gone.Barbie is to receive a dramatic makeover this year, toy company Mattel has revealed, as a new range includes three optional body shapes - petite, tall and curvy - as well as seven different skin tones and 24 hairstyles. The updated dolls are intended to better reflect the diversity of the product's devotees and appeal to the shifting expectations of what Mattel called "millennial moms".Now people are asking for a "dadbod Ken".Ken, Barbie's boyfriend, has washboard abs and perfectly toned thighs. Much like Barbie, his body type is rather unrealistic. This has led people to ask Mattel to make his body curvier."Dadbod" is a buzzword for a special kind of man - one who doesn't spend all day at the gym and is not afraid to be a bit cuddly."While we all love a sculpted guy, there is just something about the dadbod that makes boys seem more human, natural and attractive," said Mackenzie Pearson, who is credited with starting the dadbod revolution. ..
