Concerns over fatigue of Kaizer Chiefs players as they play a second match in four days on Tuesday night would be outweighed by the momentum of their five victories on the trot, coach Steve Komphela asserted. The immediate responsibility falls on the medical team in terms of how quickly they can get players back and fresh," said Komphela."It's going to be very important and the first thing I do is take their advice on the state of the squad and who is fit and who is not. There is also mental fatigue to take into consideration."But I think it is all eased by the fact that we've been winning. Winning changes a lot," said Komphela."Usually we all complain about big breaks in the programme and how it breaks the momentum, now games are coming quick and fast like this, but you are winning, it keeps you in that mode. "It would be different if we had lost because then the coach wants more time with the team to address issues. But now that we are getting results, I am saying: 'Let them come'. We want to kill them while we have the confidence."Komphela said he respected the experience of Polokwane City's coach, Julio Cesar Leal: "They will have learnt lessons from the setback they suffered against Ajax Cape Town on Saturday. They will rectify those mistakes, even though they don't have much time. But we want to carry on doing what we've been doing."And we hope that the confidence we have from the previous results is carried forward. I want my players to take [Polokwane City] seriously because of the threat of taking on a team that is inconsistent. "As a coach I am going to highlight and exaggerate the strengths of Polokwane City rather than undermine them to my players. I want the level of focus of my team to be the same as they would have for any highly competent opponent."Reneilwe Letsholonyane is still recovering from injury, but Komphela said both George Lebese and Itumeleng Khune were back in full training...
