'Anaconda' about to hit town

The rapper will be in the country for her Pink Print tour, which kicks off in Johannesburg on March 17 and 18 before heading to Durban on March 20 and Cape Town on March 22.But, for those who didn't get tickets to her show, hopes of seeing the "Anaconda" rapper aren't lost.Though her schedule is tight and local promoters have indicated that she won't have much free time, there are some mandatory sightseeing destinations on her itinerary.Since Johannesburg is her first stop, the sultry rapper is expected to visit Soweto.Airey Scott Entertainment tour promoter David Airey said Minaj was "excited" about coming to the country and it was "highly likely" fans could request a selfie with her.Durban's game reserves and Cape Town's iconic Table Mountain and Robben Island are also said to be on her itinerary.But the challenge will be getting past her 30-person entourage, including her personal assistant, hair stylist, make-up artist, wardrobe assistant, band members and dancers.Airey said: "We've been working on the Nicki Minaj show for close to a year. It's been a long process. artists are massive brands and have a level of expectations; they are professionals at the top of their game."Minaj, one of the world's best rappers, is also infamous for her undeniable sex appeal. She regularly causes a stir when she posts pictures on social media.Airey said fans can expect to hear her most popular hits, but should be prepared for surprises on stage with feathers, eccentric head pieces and lots of colour."Her shows are flamboyant and exciting... Nicki Minaj has a lot of demands, but she's realistic, her biggest focus is blowing her fans away," Airey said.The Pink Print tour will take place at the Ticketpro Dome in Johannesburg, Durban's Moses Mabhida Stadium and Cape Town's Grand West Arena...
