Dolphins chief executive Pete de Wet confirmed on Tuesday that Lance Klusener's firing as head coach about two months ago might have been one of the reasons behind Proteas swing bowler Kyle Abbott's decision to ditch the Durban side for the Warriors.However, De Wet said it was the 28-year-old from Empangeni who would have to answer the tough questions about his decision."[Abbott] made it quite clear at the time of Lance's departure that he was unhappy with that decision and on that basis he seemed like he wanted to move on," De Wet said."If there are any other reasons, he would be the best person to ask, though he made it quite clear at the time that he was not chuffed with the fact that Lance was leaving."Klusener said he was not surprised by the news even though he sidestepped the fact that he was cited as one of the primary reasons for the move...
