Depardieu back in France, sort of

Europe's favourite fleshy tax dodger Gerard Depardieu is the star of the continent's first Netflix original series. Marseille follows the fortunes of the port city's mayor Robert Taro played by Depardieu. Following Netflix's expansion into countries around the world earlier this year the series is one of 12 original series that the channel is producing in Europe and Latin America. The eight-episode show will debut later this month.Gwyneth Paltrow's brother, Jake, and indie director Noah Baumbach have debuted the trailer for their film on maverick filmmaker Brian De Palma. The film combines an interview with De Palma with an examination of his films, such as Carrie, Scarface, The Untouchables and Mission: Impossible.
