Bloemfontein Celtic in good shape ahead of Kaizer Chiefs clash

A five-goal romp for Bloemfontein Celtic at the weekend is a fillip for them ahead of Wednesday evening's encounter away against Kaizer Chiefs, said coach Serame Letsoaka. Celtic hammered Ajax Cape Town 5-0 at home on Sunday for their third win in 23 games, making sure they are mathematically safe from relegation."It has been a long come coming. But I've been saying that, when it happens, it will rain," Letsoaka said.Celtic were 4-0 up at halftime over hapless Ajax, scoring three goals in the 10 minutes.Bidvest Wits' stuttering PSL challenge will be tested again tonight when they travel to Mpumalanga Black Aces knowing nothing short of victory will give them a realistic chance at silverware.A draw for Wits, coupled with victory for leaders Mamelodi Sundowns at relegation-threatened University of Pretoria tomorrow, will seal the championship for the Brazilians with two matches to play.Wits looked off colour in their 1-1 draw with Chippa United on Saturday and will need a much more energetic performance against a Black Aces side who are still chasing third place in the league and African Confederation Cup qualification.Wits coach Gavin Hunt is sweating on the fitness of his forwards but hinted he may give a run to prolific English striker James Keene, who was left on the bench at the weekend...
