Showtime for 'El Chapo'

The History Channel is looking to develop a series about the rise and fall of cartel kingpin ''El Chapo" Guzman. No word on who will star in the show, titled #Cartel, but it's being written by Narcos co-creator Chris Brancato. The 1980s cult heroes The Blues Brothers are returning to screens, this time as animated characters. The series is being developed by Bento Box Entertainment, the creators of Bob's Burgers.This year's European Film Festival kicks off today at Cinema Nouveaus in Rosebank, Brooklyn, the V&A and Gateway. You can catch Amy, Asif Kapadia's tragic portrait of Amy Winehouse as well as films exploring a range of issues from across the continent until May 15. www.eurofilmfest.co.za..
