Ayanda Patosi's season in Belgium is over after his side, Lokeren, failed to reach the next stage of qualifying for the Uefa Europa League despite thumping Mechelen 5-1. A 3-0 win for Sporting Charleroi over May Mahlangu's Sint Truiden meant they finished ahead of Lokeren on goal difference.Patosi set up the opening goal for Hamdi Harbaoui, who ended up netting four times in the game. The Bafana winger made 35 appearances for Lokeren in all competitions, netting seven goals. Mahlangu could have played his last game for Sint Truiden as his contract expires next month. Definitely out of the club are assistant coach Benni McCarthy and his boss, Chris O'Loughlin.Kermit Erasmus made a rare appearance on the bench for Ligue 1 side Stade Rennes in their 2-0 defeat at Montpellier.
