Ahead of its August release in the US, the trailer for Sundance favourite Southside With You has debuted online. The film tells the story of the first date in 1989 between a young law firm associate named Barack Obama and lawyer Michelle Robinson.It follows them from the Art Institute of Chicago to a screening of Spike Lee's Do The Right Thing and their first kiss outside an ice cream parlour.After 2014's Welcome to New York, director Abel Ferrara's Gerard Depardieu-starring attempt to deal with the Dominique Strauss-Kahn incident, it's now the turn of the Americans to try their luck.The Libertine has Johnny Depp attached to play a French politician under house arrest while awaiting trial for a sexual misconduct case involving a hotel maid. Brett Ratner directs the film, which is being pitched to finders at this year's Cannes Film Festival.Czech the Underground - ''a festival of great Czech movies recalling the totalitarian past of central Europe" in celebration of Vaclav Havel's 80th birthday - is on at The Bioscope in Johannesburg...
