Jay Z happy with his ‘Lemonade’

Beyoncé and Jay Z went on a romantic date this week, presenting a united front as rumours of infidelity in their marriage continued to swirl as a result of her Lemonade album.

Britain’s Daily Mail reported that the 34-year-old singer, wearing a floral maxi-dress by Giamba that showed off her cleavage, and suede heels, was ‘‘beaming ear-to-ear’’ during the three-hour dinner date at an Italian restaurant in New York with her husband of eight years.

Lemonade’s lyrics, which focus on infidelity and marriage, sparked a flurry of speculation that Jay had cheated on his wife but the couple have not commented.

But Jay Z’s latest track, a remix of Fat Joe’s All The Way Up, mentions Lemonade and his marriage. He raps: ‘‘You know you made it when the fact/Your marriage made it is worth millions/Lemonade is a popular drink and it still is survival of the littlest.’’
