Bulls could shine in both tournaments

Our rugby pool this week features three games in the Super rugby competition and two in the Currie Cup. Of the three Super rugby encounters, the only one that looks relatively clear-cut - on paper at least - is the battle between the Stormers and the Cheetahs at Newlands. Although the Stormers' recent form gives us little to enthuse about, they should be good enough to win. The margin is not so easy to predict and I suggest we go for both Stormers win results (by 1-12 points and by 13 or more points). In the other two Super rugby games we are going to go as wide as possible. The Bulls v Lions game in Pretoria could be decided by a single score, so we will go for either a Bulls or Lions victory by a 1-12 point margin. We could possibly do the same in the game in which the Rebels host the Force but I would add the Rebels to win by 13 or more points. In the Currie Cup, the Blue Bulls host the Leopards. We will select a Bulls win - both results. The Lions welcome the EP Kings to the Emirates Stadium and they are my outright selection to win by a big margin...
