Super ship cruise 'a shambles'

The world's biggest cruise ship is a "construction site", its first customers have claimed. The £800-million Harmony of the Seas left Southampton for Rotterdam on a four-night trip on May 22 but customers have protested about ongoing work and closed attractions.Furious customers have tweeted pictures of overflowing urinals, uncovered drains and muddy carpets.Passenger David Mitchell, 73, from Lincoln, said his four-night stay on the cruise ship was "a shambles".He said: "There were queues at the bars, queues to get into the dining room and there were so many people lining up at guest services to complain they had to put up barriers."Another customer, Georgina Davie, from Southampton, told the BBC there was deafening drilling which went on through the night near cabins where passengers were sleeping.About 6000 passengers joined the ship's first outing. It has 20 restaurants and 23 swimming pools.The ship's owner, Royal Caribbean Cruises, admitted "final finishing touches were being made". ..
