Afrikaans singer Steve Hofmeyr has once again found himself in hot water as a result of his views on race.Hofmeyr was scheduled to give a talk on the future of Afrikaners in South Africa at a restaurant in The Hague in the Netherlands today but was turned away once Café Dudok Den Haag was made aware of his racial views.Johan de Villiers, a member of the African-European Indaba - a community of Africans living in Europe - alerted the restaurant to Hofmeyr's provocative views on race in South Africa. This subsequently saw the restaurant distancing itself from Hofmeyr and cancelling his appearance.Twitter users have reacted to the cancellation, with many lauding the move.
