Actress Terry Pheto has described being cast in the lead role of Winnie Madikizela-Mandela in BET's upcoming mini-series about Nelson Mandela, as a dream come true.Pheto, speaking while on set in Johannesburg, wore a replica of the navy-blue suit Madikizela-Mandela wore on the day Madiba was released from prison."I feel like I've been preparing for this role my entire career. It's a dream role for me and I feel like everything that I've done has led me to this."Pheto says everything about the story of Madiba resonates with her."I see this role as an honour and a huge responsibility," she said. The actress added that she hoped Madikizela-Mandela would look at her performance and be proud."Preparing for this role over the past few months is the loneliest I've ever felt, because you watch documentaries and you read material, and you realise very few people would have survived what she went through."Madiba will be released on BET (DStv channel 129) next year...
