'Viking' warrior sent for anger management

A re-enactment Viking warrior has gone on an anger management course after attacking a man over a missing battle axe.Aiden Devlin, 21, lived up to the Nordic warriors' fierce reputation in the mystery of the missing axe used in battle re-enactments.A court heard he confronted Alexander Childs after the fearsome axe used in the university society's Viking war games vanished from their college armoury.He accused Childs, 22, of knowing what happened to the missing axe belonging to fellow Viking battle fan Scott Jackson.He proclaimed: "I'm Aidan Devlin, and I'm a member of the Viking Society. I have it on good authority that you know where Scott Jackson's axe is."The court heard how the bearded Devlin was furious when Childs "smirked" at his Viking declaration.He headbutted Childs when he tried to walk away from the confrontation in the centre of Lampeter, West Wales.Devlin admitted to headbutting Childs and being in possession of cannabis, which he said helped his back pain.Janem Jones, defending, said: "This is something he will never, ever do again. He has sought anger management counselling to help control his temper."Devlin was fined £120 (about R2600) after admitting assault and must pay £100 compensation to Childs...
